Mission Statement:
Mission is to be a welcoming presence as we door keep in the house of God.  To ensure that order is maintained during worship service.

The New Bethel Baptist Church Usher Board #1 was the first board to form at New Bethel, on March 31, 1932. Paul Dawson was the first Usher Board president, elected under the leadership of the Rev. H.H. Coleman. Many others served as president until 1989, when our current  president, Brother Grant Brown, was elected.

The Young Adult/Junior Usher Board was formed in 1936 under the leadership of Rev. H.H. Coleman. Sister Gladys Mathews was the supervisor. Many others served as supervisor/president until 1993, when Sister Angles Pressley was elected president. Today, Sister Maggie Clay and Sister Williams E. Goodson serve as supervisors.

Usher Board #2 was formed in 1964 under the leadership of the Rev. Ramsey. Sister Juanita Thonan was elected the first president. Many others served as president until 1974, when our current president, Trustee Nationial Bowers, was elected.

Usher Board #3 was formed in 1964 under the leadership of the Rev. C.L. Franklin. Trustee Eliza Butler was the first president and only president until 1996, when our current president, Brother Henry Ross, was elected.

The 8 a.m. Usher Board was formed in 1991 under the leadership of the Rev. Robert Smith Jr. Sister Barbara Ingram has been the only president. Gloria Thompson is supervisor.
